An Open Invitation

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Quick Word: “An Open Invitation” One of the challenges we’ve faced during the pandemic is the social distancing. We are designed to be in fellowship with one another. Unfortunately for safety, invitations to come together over the last 18 months have been scarce; there is the desire to get back to “normal” to include accepting invitations. If we are honest with ourselves at some point we all have found ourselves tired from the labors of everyday life and are heavy laden and need rest. The good news in this text is: - We have an open invitation to come to Jesus at anytime : - We have an open invitation to come to Jesus and when we do we will find rest(Physically, Mentally, Emotionally and Spiritually): - We have an open invitation to submit (yoke) every aspect of our lives to Jesus and when we do the weight of our burdens are lighten! Whatever burden you are carrying today, accept the invitation and bring it to Jesus!
