Job 1: 20-22

20 Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. 21 And he said: Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

After Job received word of the loss of his material wealth and ultimately the death of his children, Job fell to the ground in Worship….

- No matter how bad life situations are find the strength to worship God!

- No matter how bad life situations are remember that the Lord is sovereign, the Lord gives and the Lord takes away!

- No matter how bad life situations are the name of the Lord is blessed! He is worthy to be praised!

Blessed be the name of the Lord; whatever you are going through, I want you to know, Help is on the way!

Let’s Pray: God how we thank you for your presence during the difficult times in life. God we come this morning knowing that we can worship you in spite of our situations and circumstances. As believers in your word, we know that you will never leave us or forsake us. God, we come laying our burdens at your throne of grace. God we know that you can do anything but fail, God we come lifting up your name because your are worthy of our woship, you are worthy of our praise. May your Spirit fall fresh upon us today in the name of Jesus. Amen.
