Psalms 107:6Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses.

Quickword: Can I Get A Witness?

The 107th Number of the Psalms opens in verses 1-2a with a call to give thanks: Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. The text indicates that God is good and His mercy is everlasting. The text ultimately calls for a witness, someone who can proclaim that they have been redeemed by the Lord. Redeemed simply defined is saved from sin, error or evil. Throughout the 107th Psalm in verses 6, 13, 19 and 28 a verse is repeated: Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses. Every time the people of God called out, He delivered them out of their trouble. I’m looking for one or two witnesses who will be honest enough to share that in our times of trouble, we have called on God and he heard and answered our prayers.

- We are blessed to be able to call on God in our times of trouble.

- The Lord hears and answers our prayers.

- The Lord delivers us out of distressed situations and circumstances.

The question I ask today is simply, can I get a witness? Can I get a witness that God has delivered you and you and you out of some distressed situations. There maybe someone who is reading this post now and you find yourself overwhelmed by the challenges of life. The text tells us, then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses. Can I get a witness that will encourage someone who is going through today that the Lord is a way maker. The Lord is a healer; the Lord is a deliverer, the Lord is a provider, the Lord is a protector, that the Lord is…If the Lord has ever redeemed you out of your distresses can I get a witness? Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.
