He Has Done Enough!

Romans 5:6-8

6 For when we were still without strength, [d]in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Quickword: He Has Done Enough!

I start this Quickword with the end of what I want to share upfront. That being simply, If God does not do anything else He has already done enough!

- When we were without strength in due time Christ died for us.

- Christ died for the ungodly

- It would be hard to find someone to die for a righteous man, perhaps for a good man one would even dare.

- But God!

My brothers and sisters, God demonstrated His love towards us in that while were sinners, Christ died for us. Without the sacrificial death of Jesus we would be lost and unable on our own to be reconciled to God. But God! God loved us enough that even in our sinful state, He loved us to the point that He sent Jesus to die for us. This is a brief Quickword, I’m grateful for what God has done, I’m grateful for what God is doing even now, but If God does not do anything else, He has already done enough! Praise God!
