Yesterday as most of you know, the social media platforms operated by Facebook were down for a number of hours. Obviously, I’m a user of social media but yesterday I was not on any platforms. I only became aware of the challenges they were having when informed by a friend. Last night I was amused by some of the comments and memes that highlighted the plight of persons who spend a great deal of time using Facebook and other platforms and how uncomfortable and disruptive this has been to a great number of people. There are days like yesterday where I enjoy the solitude or silence, when I’m able to be still and wait to hear God’s voice. In the stillness and silence:

- In the Silence , My Soul waits with expectation to hear a word from God…

- In the silence, I’m reminded of God’s Power and Presence to Save humanity…

- In the Silence, let’s us all take comfort in knowing that God is protector and provider.

I encouraged each of you to find time to sit in silence and commune with God. I attempt to spend time with God every morning, it’s during our time in the Silence Beloved that our Souls can hear from God and we are refreshed.
