Yesterday I attended a funeral in which the Eulogist used the description of a childhood game that many of us played in his opening portions of his sermon. The Title of the message was Ready or Not, here I come. Later this morning another member of our church life will be honored at her homegoing celebration as she now rest with lord. Beloved, the reality of life is not for the faint of heart. We will have to deal with the realities of life while we journey here on earth.

- All of humanity will face adversity….

- Life is short and full of trouble….

- God knows where we are and what we are going through….

Brothers and Sisters, we don’t know when our earthly existence will come to a end. Man( male & female) born of a Woman is of a few days full of trouble. The good news I leave with you today is that we can cast all of our cares upon the Lord. Trouble will come but trouble is only temporary; we serve a God who has all power in his hand. Even when trouble comes, we are never alone. Whatever troubles you are facing today, bring them to God ; He is present, willing and able to see us through our times of trouble. In our times of trouble we can take it to God in prayer.
