Jeremiah 8:21-22

21 For the hurt of the daughter of my people I am hurt. I am mourning;

Astonishment has taken hold of me.

22 Is there no balm in Gilead,

Is there no physician there?

Why then is there no recovery

For the health of the daughter of my people?

Most of us agree regardless of political views that these actions and the loss of life and injuries that have and will take place until there is a peaceful solution is unacceptable. The question we are asking is the same question that the prophet Jeremiah was asking as he surveyed the landscape during his time.
