John 20: 30-31

30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book.

31 But these are written that you may believe[b] that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Quickword: John’s Gospel

My beloved brothers and sisters, I pray that today finds you doing well. I’m still worshipping from this past Sunday morning. It was a blessing to be in Fellowship in the sanctuary with some people I have not seen in three years. I briefly in the last two verses of the Gospel of John want to highlight the significance of this book. Here in the final versus the Gospel writer surmises the purpose of this book.

- The Gospel of John highlights the miracles perf by Jesus during His earthly ministry, yet all of the signs he performed in the presence of his disciples are not recorded in the book.

- The Gospel of John was written that we might believe that Jesus is the Messiah and the Son of God.

- The Gospel of John was written so that we might believe and have life in His name.

I am grateful for the Word of God! The word of God comforts me in crisis, the word of God gives me joy during the difficult days of life. The word of God shelters me when the storm winds of life are blowing. I thank God for His word, it’s is our belief in God, that we are saved! I dont know what this day will bring but I do know because of the word, that God is able to see us through, I know through his Word that God is a keeper, I know because if his Word, as shared through the Gospel of John that we have been redeemed by the broken body and shed blood of Jesus. Thank God for His Word!
