Acts 14:21-26

21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, 22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” 23 So when they had appointed elders in every church, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed. 24 And after they had passed through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia. 25 Now when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia. 26 From there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work which they had completed.

Quickword: Keep Going!

Today I simply want to encourage whoever may encounter this post to just keep going.

The disciples in the book of Acts had encountered a number of obstacles as they went out preaching the Gospel . They had been stoned, beaten, arrested, run out of town and on occasion left for dead. Yet here at the end of chapter 14, we see them together. They are at a point I believe in their lives and ministry to know that when the challenges of life come, we just have to keep going.

Keep Going….

- Through the loss of a loved one

- Through the illness

- Through the broken relationships

- Through the betrayal

- Through the lack of appreciation

- Through the lies

- Through the racism and discrimination

- Through the financial struggle

- Through the anxiety

- Through the depression

Keep Going, Keep Going, Keep Going!

The good news I have for you today is that you don’t have to keep going by yourself. God will never leave us or forsake us. Whenever you feel like giving up and throwing in the towel, I want to encourage you to Keep Going in the name of Jesus.

Let’s Pray: Dear God in Heaven, I pray for every person who is on the brink of giving up. God, the ups and downs of life can leave us in a place of despair. Today, I asked that you touch and speak to every person with a bowed down head, speak to every person who is burden and heavy laden. God give them the mindset and the strength to just Keep Going in the name of Jesus! Amen
