Philippians3:13-14

13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have [a]apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Quickword: Keep Pressing!

Many of us are facing challenges that nobody is aware of. These challenges include grieving the loss of a love one, dealing with a health challenge, the stress of financial burdens during the holidays, maintaining healthy relationships with a spouse, parent, siblings, children or someone else whom you are connected with. The Quickword this morning is simply a word to encourage each of us to keep pressing. The Apostle Paul writes this letter to the church of Philippi as they are being bombarded with false teachings. We can relate to this as we are constantly having to navigate the onslaught on misinformation from media, politicians, managers/supervisors and unfortunately those who proclaim to have been call to impart and share the truths of God. Through all of our struggles, just keep pressing. I pen this post as echoing the words of the Apostle Paul:

- Keep pressing as one who confess that I am not making it on my own but by the Grace & Mercy of God.

- Keep pressing forgetting those things which are behind and reaching for those things which are ahead

- Keep pressing toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus!

Keep pressing through the illness, keep pressing through the grief, keep pressing through the hardships. Keep pressing with the assurance that God knows where you are and what you are going thru. Keep pressing, Keep Pressing towards the call of God through Christ Jesus!
