Psalms 34:12-14

12 Who is the man who desires life,

And loves many days, that he may see good? 13 Keep your tongue from evil,

And your lips from speaking deceit.

14 Depart from evil and do good;

Seek peace and pursue it.

Quickword: Keys To A Happy Life

These three verses from Psalms 34 offer unto us some valuable keys to living a Happy life. Let me make the distinction clear, there is no perfect life but with the help of the Lord though the Holy Spirit, we can strive to have a Happy Life;

- Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceit.

- Depart from evil and do good.

- Seek peace and pursue it.

My brothers and sisters by no means am I I implying that these keys are simple to master. I only offer that we attempt to put them in practice. This kind of discipline life is accepted by relying on the Holy Spirit. The third person of the Trinity is available to assist us in all of our engagements, for the believe, the power of the Spirit dwells within us. I’m not there completely but I’m attempting to seek the Lord before I speak, act or move. The keys to a happy life are surmised in the opening verse of this psalms where the Psalmist proclaims “ I will blessed the Lord at all times and His praises shall continually be in my mouth.” I encourage you when you find yourself about to speak, act or move that does not line up with your relationship with the Christ, no matter where you are; stop and give God praise. I promise you, you will feel better.
