Ephesians 4:31-32

31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, [a]clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Quickword: Let It Go

Earlier this week, I caught the final point of a sermon: The final point being, “Peace is too expensive to be wasted. This particular point resonated with me as peace is something that I greatly value. I value my peace so much that if anything or anybody interferes with that peace, it or they have to go. Words found In the letter to Ephesus in the 4th chapter have served as a framework that helps me to keep my peace.

- Let go of those things that disrupt our peace(bitterness, anger, wrath, evil speaking…)Let it go.

- Be kind to one another ( kindness is an action that requires intentionality)

- Forgive one another as Christ has forgiving us.

Can I be honest with you; there are some people who work my last nerve. Some I’m close too, others, like some political leaders who make decisions that impact millions of people based on their own agendas. People whose actions don’t align with their words. Here is the key: Let It Go; your peace is too expensive. In the gospel of Luke, Chapter 6, verses 27-28 ”But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. Let it go, your peace is too expensive. I promise you if you love, forgive, and in some cases when necessary separate from those who disrupt your peace, peace will find you. So today I encourage you to Let It Go, no man, woman, job, or relationship is worth your peace. Let It Go! God will give you a peace that surpasses all understanding, just let it go!
