Isaiah 40:28-31

28 Have you not known?

Have you not heard?

The everlasting God, the Lord,

The Creator of the ends of the earth,

Neither faints nor is weary.

His understanding is unsearchable.

29 He gives power to the weak,

And to those who have no might He increases strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,

And the young men shall utterly fall,

31 But those who wait on the Lord

Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.

Quickword: Lord, Renew my Strength!

Like many of you, my schedule is full. Today is no exception as this will be a 13-14 hour day. Even in the midst of the holiday season, I find that we are as busy as ever. This morning I make this request on behalf of myself and if you find yourself needing some renewal, join me this morning as I make this request: Lord, Renew my strength! The good news is that we have come to the right place, an all knowing, ever-present and all powerful God! The God who can renew our strength….

- He is the everlasting God who neither slumbers or sleeps.

- He gives power to those who are weak and strength to those who have no might!

- He gives strength to those who will wait upon Him.

Lord, today I simply asked that you renew my strength and others who need you. Strength to deal with every situation and circumstance that we face; grief, sickness, strained relationship, ministry, work, school, finances, etc… Lord give us strength that we run and not become weary, strength to walk and not faint. Lord, Renew Our Strength!

Dear God I pray that whoever engages this post and needs strength that you will touch as only you can touch. God I ask in the name of Jesus that you will renew our strength, physically and spiritually! You are a great God who can do anything but fail, so I bring our petitions unto you, renew our strength according to your will and your way in the name of Jesus! Amen
