Oh Give Thanks To The Lord pt 2

Psalms 118:1,5-7

1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

5 I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. 6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? 7 The Lord is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.

Day two of giving thanks unto the Lord continues with our being grateful for the things that the Lord has and continues to do. This text highlighted by the Psalmist gives us several reasons from both an individual standpoint to give thanks unto the Lord:

- Give thanks unto the Lord for he answers my prayers!

- Give thanks unto the Lord for He is on our side!

- Give thanks unto the Lord, for He is available and present to help us!

My Brother’s and Sister’s, we have reasons to give the Lord thanks! We give the Lord thanks because he hears and answers our prayers. We give God thanks because the Lord is on our side. We give the Lord thanks because He is available and present to help us. Oh, give thanks unto the Lord for He never sleeps or slumbers. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, I don’t know where we would be if were not on our side. Oh, give thanks to the lLord because He is ever present and available to meet our every need. Oh Give thanks to the Lord!
