Psalms 100:5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Quickword: Praise Break!

Sometimes in the crazy and chaotic world that we live in, we need to just take a moment and reflect on the goodness of the Lord. Another way to say this is, every now and then, we need to take a personal praise break. We don’t have to wait to Sunday morning, but when we think of the goodness of the Lord, praise should break out. That’s where we find the author of Psalm 100. When he gets to verse 5, when he thinks of the goodness of the Lord, praise breaks out. The Psalmist declares that:

- The Lord is good

- The Mercy of the Lord is everlasting

- The Truth of the Lord endureth to all Generations

This kind of praise break comes from personal experience with the Lord. No matter your current situation or circumstance, when you think of the Lord and can declare the words of the Psalmist found here in verse 5 of Psalms 100, then give Him praise. If you are in the middle of the storms of life but can declare the Lord is good, give him praise. If the Lord has ever brought you out of anything and you can declare the Lord is good, give Him Praise. Even today if you find yourself, overwhelmed with the challenges of everyday living, but you know in your heart of hearts that the Lord is good; give Him praise. Give Him praise because my brothers and my sisters, The Lord is Good, His mercy is everlasting and His truth endureth to all generations. He is worthy to be praise!
