Quick Word: God Is!

Perhaps like many of you, I’m praying for those who are enduring the impacts of Hurricane Ida. Unfortunately, this storm will cause great damage and loss of life. As I checked on family and Friends during the storm I was reminded that God Is!

- God Is Still God! - God is Still sovereign and controls the when, where, how long and how powerful the winds will blow. - God is Still God even in the midst of the storms in our lives.

Good News: I hear the words of the hymn writer: The Storm is passing over(Lord), The Storm is passing over, The Storm is passing over, Hallelujah!

Dear God in Heaven, we pray for every person that has been impacted by this current storm. God I know that you are able to do anything but fail, so I asked that you comfort those who will suffer great lost, provide for their every need, God even in the midst of physical and other storms we are facing today; Grant unto us a Peace that will surpass all understanding in the name of Jesus! Amen!
