Ephesians 6:12-13

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [c]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

When I was a child growing up in Macon GA, I was a huge wrestling fan. Every week during the summer my Mother would take me and a couple of my friends to the coliseum for live wrestling. You knew who to root for, there was a distinct difference between the good guys and the bad side. Unfortunately, we are living in a very different time. We can’t distinguish right from wrong or good from evil. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness! We are divided, the have and the have nots, Democrats vs Republicans , Vaccinated vs Unvaccinated! We are divided by race, sexual orientation, and even religion! As a result of the battles we face daily, we must learn to Stand!

- Spiritual warfare is Real

- Put on the Whole Armor of God

- After we have done all we can, STAND!

Whether you are teleworking or going into work, regardless of whether you are going to school or attending church in person or virtually, we are in the midst of spiritual warfare. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. At the end of the day, when we have done all we can, we need to stand. The Good News is that we can Stand on the Word of God!
