Storms Keep Coming….

Mark 4:35-37

35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.”36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.

There are many individuals, families and businesses that are still recovering from Hurricabe Ida which brought death and devastation extending from the Gulf Coast throughout the states through the Northeast parts of the United States. Today parts of the previously impacted areas will once again face the potential damage of Storm Nicholas. Even as this storm causes concern the name of the next storm, Odette as been identified. The theocentric lesson I offer this morning is that storms will continue to come. Likewise in life it seems as soon as we get over one storm another storm comes along and while we brace for the new storm, there is another storm on the horizon. Sometimes my beloved brothers and sisters, we just have to brace for storms.
