Psalms 46:10-11

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Quickword: The Lord of Host is with us!

We live in a time where we are face with challenges in a daily basis. These challenges include the decline of our physical health or our mental faculties. These challenges include emotional and spiritual attacks. Some of us face financial challenges to the point of trying to provide for our families and others on a daily basis. My Brothers and Sisters, I know that these challenges can become overwhelming. This Quickword today reminds us that the Lord of host is with us. We are encouraged to

- Be Still and know that God is still God

- Be Still and know that God will be exalted in the earth

- Be Still and know that the Lord of Host is with us.

The Lord of Hosts Is one of God’s title names based on His power and sovereignty. “Lord of Hosts” is not just another title for the Lord but is one of His names, which display His mightiness as Leader of angels and human armies, as well as the Commander of stars and planets. We are in the midst of spiritual warfare, yet we can take courage in knowing that the Lord of Host is with us. For many of us, this is not our first battle, neither will it be our last. We take comfort in knowing that the Lord of Host is with us. Don’t become discouraged, disappointed or disconnected when the battle becomes intense. Just remember and remind yourself that the Lord of Host is with us. This battle is not ours but the Lords.
