Yesterday I went to a full service Car Wash to have my vehicle cleaned. It was pretty filthy from my travels up and down the highway. While waiting on the attendant, I surveyed the different wash options that were available, there was the express wash, the premier shine, The Wash tub Special and then there it was, the Words Ultimate Wash! Some of you are already with me, go ahead and shout. In a Theocentric Moment as a Child of God it blessed my soul when I realized I’ve been washed in the Blood of Jesus. The blood washes away all of my sins and I’m reconciled and put in right relationship with God! That’s the Ultimate Wash.

- When we are washed in the Blood of Jesus we walk in the light!

- When we are washed in the Blood of Jesus we have fellowship with one another!

- When we are washed in the Blood of Jesus, we are cleansed from our sins!

There Is an old Hymn of the Church that captures the power of being washed, the lyrics are:

”What can wash away my sin?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus;

What can make me whole again?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus.“

The Good News is that the Ultimate Wash is available to everyone: Black and White, male and female, rich and poor, young and old. The Ultimate Wash has been paid in full. The price for the Ultimate Wash was paid by Jesus on Calvary’s Cross! Jesus became a living sacrifice for you and I. All we have to do is confess our sins and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We are Washed By the Blood! He is Worthy to be Praised!
